Kevin Burke Obituary, Cause of Death – Oak Lawn Community Remembers A Devoted Family Man

The Oak Lawn community is mourning the passing of Kevin Burke, a man remembered for his devotion to family, his warmth as a friend, and his lasting impact on those who knew him. His death has brought sorrow to loved ones, yet his legacy continues through the relationships he nurtured and the love he shared.

Kevin was the beloved husband of Jeannie (née Fogarty), with whom he built a life rooted in love and partnership. Together, they raised a family that became his greatest joy.

He was a loving father to Erin (Neil) Grove, Kaitlin (Anthony) Gessert, and Molly (Sam) Yasin. His guidance and encouragement shaped their lives, and his devotion to them was unwavering.

Kevin was a cherished grandfather to Ethan, Allison, Addilynn, Eli, Teagan, Lana, and Ivan. His grandchildren brought him immense happiness, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

He was also a dear brother to Brian (Lynn) Burke and Carol (Kurt) Huddleston, and a proud uncle to Edward and Emily. His family ties reflected his loyalty, affection, and commitment to those closest to him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23rd, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn. Services will take place the same evening at 7:00 pm, with inurnment to follow privately.
