Brynn Carnesecca Obituary, Cause of Death – Miss American Fork 2024

The Miss Utah Scholarship Organization has announced the passing of Brynn Carnesecca, Miss American Fork 2024. In a heartfelt statement, the organization remembered her as someone who “brought so much light” to the Miss Utah and Miss American Fork programs through her kindness, friendship, and service.

Brynn was widely admired for her warmth and generosity. At the 2025 Miss Utah competition, she was honored with the Miss Congeniality Award, a distinction chosen by fellow contestants that reflected the positive impact she had on those around her.

A community vigil is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. at the American Fork Amphitheater, 851 E. 700 N. The event is open to all who wish to gather in remembrance and support of her family.

Brynn’s cousin has organized a GoFundMe campaign, describing her as “a bright light” in both her family and the community. The fundraiser notes her accomplishments as a pianist, journalist, and founder of Envelopes of Hope, an initiative dedicated to sharing stories and spreading kindness. Donations will help cover funeral expenses, create a memorial in her honor, and support her loved ones as they cope with her unexpected passing.
